Power, Wealth, and Fame...

These are the desires of humans that seek to be president of this nation..

Can you choose within these egoists ?..

Who lies to you the most ?..

Is the devil that we know, better than the devil that we do not know ?..

Why is it so difficult to find Love within humans that desire Power ?..

The egoic desire, desires nothing but self interest..

Life and Death do not matter to Egoic Power..

So many wars have been fought using your name..

Will you be fooled again this time by smiling faces and hugs ?..

Will you vote upon gender instead of comprehension ?..

I could write an hour about the illusion of egoic desire,

but, I will leave you with the desire to seek that which seeks only Truth...

The wealthiest amoung us rule the world and will decide who is placed in the position as faux commander and chief of our country.

The most altruistic soul amoung the canidates will not be the one chosen, for if they are chosen by a huge majority of the common people, a great battle will ensue and they will not be able to fulfill their promise of more equality amoung the classes.

Such a concept is not understood fully in a culture of greed and power. The object is to widen the gap, not close it. We can all give more, each in our own way, without anyone suffering for it. But alas that is not the plan they have for us.

Like St Francis of Assisi and St Clare they have not awakened to the realization and the joy of knowing only one spirit, one love. Only then do we actualize the true meaning of this existence.

Since our 1st presidents birthday was just the other day I thought it would be interesting to recall our original leader's thoughts regarding this country and those that serve its people.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first President of the United States lived from 1732 to 1799. He had a vision for our country that was lost long ago to most of those that have followed in his footsteps.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Famous Quotes of George Washington

"I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Observe good faith and justice toward all nations. Cultivate peace and harmony with all."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"My first wish is to see this plague of mankind, war, banished from the earth."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Labor to keep alive in your breast that little spark of celestial fire, called conscience."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Happiness and moral duty are inseparably connected."

George Washington

Who on the current political stage understands what moral duty entails? Who lives by this code?
