Discovering Silence...

When asked how one discovered silence, the Master told this
story:

A factory was interested in buying bullfrog skins. A farmer
wired the company that he could supply any quantity up to a
hundred thousand on demand. The company wired back: "Send
first consignment, fifty thousand."

Two weeks later, a single pathetic frog skin came through the
mail with this note: "Sirs, I apologize. This is all the frog skins
there were in the neighborhood. The noise certainly fooled me."

Later the Master said, "Investigate the noise that people make.
Then see through the noise that you yourself are making, and you
will find nothing, emptiness -- and silence."
